We have been receiving an influx of emails and phone calls regarding abnormally long wait times for order deliveries, starting with orders placed within the last week of November.
Canada Post and other couriers are experiencing higher than normal parcel volumes for this time of year, due to a combination of the holiday season and many folks being at home and ordering online due to COVID-19. In some cases, depending on the region (mainly Canada Post’s BC and Ontario main processing facilities), this can result in a 2+ week delay, and couriers are not guaranteeing delivery times. Under no circumstances will shipping fees be refunded, except in the case a customer requests an order cancellation before it has shipped.
Please understand that this is no fault of ours, as we do not deliver the parcels personally. We either call for pickup, or drop the orders off to the appropriate courier. It is up to them to deliver your order.
Tracking your order using the tracking number emailed to you when your order has shipped, is the only way to keep an eye on where your order is. There is no other information that we are able to provide you, except if you did not receive an email with your tracking number.
Courier Status (based on our experience) as of Jan 16, 2021:
- Canada Post - extreme delays
- UPS - no delays/minor delays
- FedEx - no delays/minor delays
- Purolator - no delays/minor delays
We thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.
